Research Interests

    • Synthesis of new  amphiphilic  invertible polymers (also macromers)  with controllable hydrophilic-lipophilic  balance. Study of  polymer invertibility in polar and non-polar media, phase transfer and micelle formation.
    • Self-assembly and properties of  invertible polymeric  micelles formed in aqueous and organic  media. Invertible polymeric micellar structures as a reactive volume for synthetic use.
    • Development of responsive invertible polymeric coatings on flat and disperse solid surfaces for various applications. Adsolubilization study. Fabrication of polymer coatings with special properties.
    • Development of  amphiphilic  polymeric  nanoreactors  for various applications in aqueous and organic media. Size- and shape-controlled synthesis of nanoparticles  with an enhanced stability in media strongly different by polarity.
    • Fabrication of polymeric hydrogels from natural and synthetic polymers. (also on flat and disperse solid surfaces). Grafted polymeric hydrogel coatings for biomedical applications.
